Your baby has been growing fast, already about two inches in size and weighs approx half an ounce. You have clearly discernible human features with pronounced movements and reflexes. Most systems are already formed and functioning. Even a touch on belly leads to movement inside. Her digestive system however is getting strengthened.
By the 12th week pregnant mother placenta having fully formed, the baby is moving and shifting more smoothly and frequently. Your breast may be more sensitive and enlarged. However your belly may not have started showing yet. But clearly you too have grown.
Common Symptoms faced in the twelfth week of pregnancy-
Problems faced during the eleventh week persist but reduce considerably. Following problems or bodily symptoms may still be visible.
- Decreasing need to urinate frequently
- Excessive saliva
- Increased vaginal discharge
- Occasional head-aches
- Progesterone hormone will slow down the process of digestion
The sex drive which has been a no go till now may resume. Moreover, some of the above mentioned symptoms may be more pronounced in some ladies.

- Make soft and easy movements within home
- Don’t bend down much
- Try and keep windows open for fresh air.
- Keep dry and clean vaginal area.
- Start reading pregnancy related books
- Spend quality time with partner
- Avoid outside food
- Go by your doctor’s advice only

Eat foods which are fiber-rich and includes breads of whole-grain, brown rice, and oatmeal. Take lots of vegetables, nuts, and legumes, which include broccoli, peas, and almonds. Take plenty of water and other fluids which includes juices and, especially of prunes, raspberries, and pears, rich in fiber. Take small meals. Do pregnancy yoga to stay fit. Take iron supplements with fiber diet of 28-grams, which is mostly recommended during pregnancy.
